It was so cold on the hill this afternoon, when we finished getting a load of wood, even the cows were wanting to be close to the fire!

So, after we went to the markets on the coldest morning yet, we checked the cows. 

Calf Marking

Right. So, last Saturday we marked the calves. At the farm. There were exactly 34 calves. Or was it 35 including the young heifer? Or was it 34 including her?... Hmmm.

It's a cow's life!

It's Friday - yay! We're at the farm. And it's all about cows, clover, oats and a fence.

Yesterday we got wood. At the farm. This is a labour-intensive session, so we tend to make an event of it!
