Doing what I can.

Here's my thought of the day. I first saw it here. I am going to say it over and over in my head, especially as the silly season continues to play out and the 'to-do' list get longer and longer. And the nights get later and later. And the groceries cost more and more :-)

That's it for today. I'm headed out for coffee. And maybe just a spot of thrifting. Call it escapism! So if you see a strange women in the op-shop muttering the same phrase under her breath, it'll be me. Muttering the above. Doing what I can.

A Quote from Life

Here's the quote for today. Thanks to the Adelaide Zoo, yet again. Last week's quote is here and the one prior to that here.

A Quote from Life

Here's a little quote found on a window at the Adelaide Zoo. I took a photo of it there but it didn't look as cool as it was in real life. So I have transcribed it onto one of the three thousand Red Centre photos we took (and I'm not joking about that figure!). Isn't the desert sand a nice contrasting background to simple little flowers? And they were right by our campsite... So very everyday, if you live in the desert ;-)

PS - Uluru will be blogged tomorrow! I've just sorted through the photos for those days and am now trying to find suitable words.
PPS - The last 'Quote from Life' is here.

A Quote from Life

This is a photo of the road heading out of the Riverland region in South Australia. Once you get over this line of hills you are in the Barossa Valley. The european photos that I mentioned are coming in a post, tomorrow ok?! If you missed the mention of some european photos here it is in yesterday's post. Amazingly, I remembered that Tuesday's are supposed to be 'A Quote from Life'. For last week's quote click here

And here is another as apt, though a little less noble, travel quote:
"When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money.  Then take half the clothes and twice the money." Susan Heller.

Ah, it's all good fun!!!
