A stay-inside day

Today is definitely a stay-inside day...

Once upon a time there was a lamb born named Tilly.

Mountains. And a quiet house.

Not so long ago I was flattening paper that had been used as packing. The sun was streaming through the window...

A wonderfully white world.

Am throwing this together before it's time to throw the dinner together and run out the door...

On the kitchen bench.

Did I say we're shearing? Did I say that when you're shearing you go through a lot of food? A lot. And so, consequently there's been a lot of foodstuffs on the kitchen bench lately.

A shed with no sheep (yet!)

On Monday we had a shearing shed with no sheep...

Here's a thing I've noticed about farming: there's always so much to do in the evening! Right before dark. No matter what you do earlier in the day or how prepared you are. There's stuff that can only happen in the evening...

Green and authentic.

Right. Here's some authentic cut greenery that is residing in our lounge at the moment. From our local Farmer's Market last Saturday. Thought it'd 'go' with the green velvet vintage lounge from my Nan. I'm loving it...

Just get going!

You know those days when you just can't get going? I'm having one of those. And it's after 3pm!
