Well hello! Imagine seeing you here!!! Are you as surprised to see me?! It's been a while hey?
Life has been barrelling along at a great rate of knots. We've had our annual school fundraiser; a great Country Fair. It's rained, oh it's rained! The bigger two small people are well into their school term and loving their daily bus rides to/from school (the very thing they dreaded about moving to the farm)! The littlest one has settled in nicely to preschool (amazing but true; that she's settled and that she's old enough to be at preschool!). What else? Seems as though more has been happening...!
I've got a morning farm routine; get the lunch boxes packed and the older small people onto the bus, get me and the littlest one dressed, put the washing on if I didn't manage it last night, take the 5 farm dogs and 1 family dog for a quick walk, feed the chooks and collect the egg (note plural of chooks and singular of the egg - they're old and partially retired!), hang the washing. Breathe! It's much more of a routine than I ever used to take on. But. I like it :-) I'm outside in the fresh, morning air. The dogs LOVE that they get to walk for fun. The chooks are slowly learning to peck the grain from our hands. The day starts in chaos with the bus rush but then slows to a lovely pace for the littlest one and I.
Somehow though, the action of a blog post has not made it into my morning routine. Not sure why. It's not that I don't enjoy it. Nor that I haven't been taking photos; I now have quite a backlog. It just hasn't happened. Maybe it's that the office and my desk is a mess! The calender is still hanging on the January page! And maybe it's that I'm enjoying being outside too much...
Anyways, I'll work on it ;-) I want to keep posting. I love reading my other fave blogs. I hope you like reading my blog! So I'll see if I can find a different slot in the daily routine that blogging can fit into nicely. That sees me posting without taking away from my newly developed morning routine. Perhaps the onset of autumn and then winter will see me happily cosied up inside ;-)
How about you? Have you a new routine? Or do you have a space in your home that hinders your activity? I'm going to post this, make the smallest person a cuppa (& me) and get into clearing off this desk!
Love seeing your photos again. Looks beautiful!😀
